The Key to Stopping Panic Attacks
Have you ever felt that you are constantly battling with restless and uneasiness? Do you feel that your body and mind are getting out of control? Do you feel nervous most of the time? Do you feel that you don’t understand what’s happening to you? Anxious thoughts and feelings like these are pretty common in people as they go through daily life. There are a lot of ways to stop panic attacks. There is, of course, traditional medicine like anti-depressants, mood stabilizers and tranquilizers although, these are pretty expensive. In addition, there are many, many anti-anxiety relief programs out there that also promise to remove anxiety. But the big question is, “Do these really work?”
Though you may take traditional medicine, they can only alleviate the symptoms of an anxiety disorder or any psychological illness for that matter. At the same time, these cause many side effects that can be harmful to those who take them. They don’t exactly cure the illness. Anti-anxiety supplements, on the other hand, haven’t been tested by any legit agency such as the Bureau of Food and Drug Administration in the United States. As for anti-anxiety relief programs, they work in the beginning when a person who suffers from panic attacks takes them into heart and puts them into practice. But once all his willpower and determination gets depleted, he gets fed up with the program and he reverts back to how he was before he started the program.

Generally, panic attacks are caused by how you reacted to your bad experiences and how you accepted the negative feedback that other people have about you. If you reacted to all these negatively, then, it’s likely that you would have a distorted self-image. You would feel insecure and unsure of yourself, you get easily embarrassed and you would constantly unhappy about your life.
For example, if you had a bad experience where you got laughed at by other people when you stuttered during a speech, it’s likely that you would despise giving speeches afterwards and you would try everything that you can think of in order to avoid similar situations. Meanwhile, if your parents have told you constantly that you’re a failure and that you wouldn’t amount to anything, chances are that you would also believe that and you would actually fail in whatever you do.
As you can see, the self-image dictates how you react towards people and situations. It determines what you can and cannot do. Once you have accepted who you are, then, that’s when you would be able to be truly happy.
